The internal battery must be replaced after 300 charging and de-charging cycles or two years
(whichever is sooner); the battery must be replaced by a qualified technician. Contact the technical de-
partment for further information.

2
Cell
Note:
The life time of the O
2
cell is approximately 5000 hours, but this can vary according to
the oxygen concentration used and the ambient temperature.
•
To open the compartment, turn and loosen the hatch.
•
Disconnect the used sensor and then unscrew it using the tool provided to remove it from its hous-
ing.
•
Replace it with a new sensor, referring to the instructions on the packaging of the new sensor if
necessary.
•
Fully re-tighten the sensor to prevent any leaks, return the disassembly tool to its housing, and
then connect the sensor.
•
To close the hatch, use the screw that was removed earlier.
•
Run the sensor calibration automatic tests.
Note:
It is recommended that you calibrate the O2
2
sensor frequently via the automatic tests.
