This command sets the position of the

/2 retarder plate. The parameter

may be either

• a number, in mechanical degrees (do not give a unit; the number will be rounded

to the nearest 0.05°),

• MINimum (-360.00°),

• MAXimum (360.00°), or

• DEFault (0.00°).
