Positioning the Polarizing Filter

These are the commands that deal with the position of the polarizing filter.

Syntax

[:INPut]:POSition:POLarizer <wsp> <value>jMINimumjMAXimumjDEFault
where value is a oating point number between -360.00 and 360.00.

Description

This command sets the position of the polarizing filter. The parameter may
be either

• a number, in mechanical degrees (do not give a unit; the number will be rounded

to the nearest 0.05_),

• MINimum (-360.00°),

• MAXimum (360.00°), or

• DEFault (0.00°).

Description

This query gets the position of the polarizing filter in mechanical degrees
(without a unit).
