On the signal generator, set controls as follows:

On the R3172/82, after preset, set controls as follows:

Frequency Span:

In step 4 the center frequency is more than 3.3 GHz, press as follows to tune pre-
selector.

On the external attenuator, set attenuation 60 dB.

On the R3172/82, after preset, set controls as follows:

On the signal generator, adjust the power level to place the peak of the signal
