To Select the Communications Settings
The communications method must be configured before the inverter is connected to a
network.
1. Press the F1 button to display the main menu.
2. Press the ▼ button until Configuration is highlighted, and then press the enter
button.
3. Press the ▼ button twice to highlight Communication , and then press the
enter button.
4. Use the ▼ and ▲ buttons to select the desired communication method.
The options are:
◦ Ethernet : Set the following parameters:
▪ Protocol : Enter the protocol
▪ IP Address : Enter the IP address
▪ Subnet mask : Enter the subnet mask
▪ Standard gateway : Enter the standard gateway
▪ Protocol port : The default is 21062. For port forwarding, enter the
protocol port assigned to the network.
▪ DNS address : Enter the DNS address
◦ USB : Set the following parameter:
▪ Protocol : Enter the protocol
◦ RS-485 : Set the following parameters:
▪ USP address : Enter the USP address
▪ Protocol : Enter the protocol
▪ Baud rate : Enter the baud rate
5. Press the enter button to confirm each setting as you complete the information.
6. Press ESC to return to the main menu.
To Configure the Portal Settings
The portal settings determine where data is sent.
1. Press the F1 button to display the main menu.
2. Press the ▼ button until Configuration is highlighted, and then press the enter
button.
3. Press the ▼ button once to highlight Portal Settings , and then press the enter
button.
