Delta-88.
The most commonly used address on the MT-3000 will be "ADA BUS ADR0" or address "0".
This address corresponds to the Delta-88's "MT30000 TUN 1", "MT3000 TUN 2", and "MT3000
TUN 3" addresses, where "....TUN 1", "....TUN 2", "....TUN 3" refer to the MT-3000's three tuner
modules (front panel reading left to right). Please note, if the Delta-88's address reads
"MT30001 TUN1", it refers to the first tuner module of an MT-3000 whose address is set to
"ADA BUS ADR1" or address "1". When using the MT-3000's primary "0" address, no number
should immediately follow the Delta-88's "MT3000...." address before the word "TUN" appears
in the address.
Programming the Delta-88's 8 Source Buttons for an MT-3000.
1
Make certain that the Delta-88s and keypad are connected to the WH-3000. In order for
the Delta-88 to download information to keypads (program the keypads), the keypads
must be connected to the WH-3000. Again, since it is best to build a system, one room
at a time, only the Delta-88(s), one keypad, and the MT-3000 should be connected to the
WH-3000(s) at this time.
2
Turn the Delta-88 on by pressing any room button followed by a source button.
Remember that power up takes a few moments.
3
Press and hold the Delta-88's LABEL button until its LED is lit. Once in the label mode
you will have five seconds to move to the next step before the Delta-88 automatically
times out of its programming mode. If the LABEL button's LED is off, you are no longer
in the program mode. You will not be able to access the Label Mode (Programming
Mode) unless the selected Delta-88 room is on to a source. If the source display reads
the words "RELEASE" and a number, press a source button to turn on that room.
4
Repeatedly press the Delta-88's PRESET button until "MODE 2 SETUP " appears in the
source LED readout.
5
Press the first source button associated with the first tuner module (left to right on the
MT-3000). Typically, this is the first Delta-88 source button reading left to right.
6
Repeatedly press the VOL UP button until the source display reads "MT3000 TUN 1"
for an MT-3000 Tuner Module 1 where the MT-3000's address is "0". Make certain that
the display does need "MT30001 TUN1" as this refers to another MT-3000 address. If
you passed the correct address while pressing the VOL UP button, pressing the VOL
DN button permits scrolling of the source addresses in both directions. Please note, as
you scroll through all potential source addresses on the Delta-88, the MT-3000's address
"0" setting is not near the "MT30001..." through "MT30004...." Delta-88 addresses.
7
Once the address for the first tuner module is set on the Delta-88, press the source button
associated to the second MT-3000 tuner module (typically the second source button
from the left).
8
Press the VOL UP button until the display reads "MT3000 TUN 2". Typically, you will
only need to press the VOL UP button once since the "MT3000 TUN 2" address directly
