(1) Initial replacement of the engine oil is after before one month or after 20 hours of
operation.
(2) The air filter needs to be cleaned more frequently when using in unusually wet or
dusty areas.

dealer to perform the service.

7. MAINTENANCE:
Spark plug inspection:
The spark plug is an important engine
component, which should be checked
periodically.

Unscrew but unloosen the screw 1
a nd take off the left exterior cover 2.

Noise suppressor cap assy 3, inst all
spark plug wrench box 4 on t he spark
plug appropriately.

Insert the handlebar 5 int o the
tool and turn it counterclockwise
to remove the spark plug.
4.
Check for discoloration and
remove the carbon. The porcelain
insulator around the center
electrode of spark plug should be
a medium-to- light tan color.
5.
Check the spark plug type and gap.
Standard spark plug:
BPR6ES/BP6ES (NGK)
F7RTC/F7TC
Spark plug gap: 0.6-0.7mm
6.
Install the spark plug.
TIP:
If a torque wrench is not available when
installing a spark plug, a good estimate
of the correct torque is 1/4-1/2 turn
past finger tight. However, the spark
plug should be tightened to the
specified torque as soon as possible.
7.
Install the spark plug cap and
spark plug cover.
