Select this check box to enable the MAC address learning limit on the Switch.
Action when

Specify the action the Switch takes when the the maximum number of MAC addresses which
a port can learn in a VLAN is reached.
Select
Forward packets with new source MAC
to allow the Switch to forward new
packets even when the packet’s MAC address is not learned.
Select
Drop packets with new source MAC
to have the Switch discard any packet whose
MAC address is not learmed.
Apply
Click
Apply
to save your changes to the Switch’s run-time memory. The Switch loses these
changes if it is turned off or loses power, so use the
Save
link on the top navigation panel to
save your changes to the non-volatile memory when you are done configuring.
Active
Select this option to activate this rule.
VID
Enter the identification number of the VLAN to which the port belongs.
Port
Select
Any
to apply the rule to all ports in the specified VLAN.
To specify a port, select the second choice and enter the number of the port to which this
rule is applied.
MAC Learning
Select this option to enable the MAC address learning limit in this rule.
