infor m at ion ( such as t he I P address and subnet m ask) bet w een a DHCP client and a DHCP ser ver.
Once t he DHCP client obt ains an I P addr ess and can connect t o t he net w or k, net wor k infor m at ion
r enewal is done bet ween t he DHCP client and t he DHCP ser ver w it hout t he help of t he Swit ch.
