11.2 Spanning Tree Protocol Status Screen
The Spanning Tree Protocol status screen changes depending on what standard you choose to
implement on your network. Click
Advanced Application
>
Spanning Tree Protocol
to see
the screen as shown.

This screen differs depending on which STP mode (RSTP or MSTP) you configure on the
Switch. This screen is described in detail in the section that follows the configuration section
for each STP mode. Click
Configuration
to activate one of the STP standards on the Switch.

Switch. Click

You can activate one of the STP modes on the Switch.

Rapid Spanning Tree

Multiple Spanning Tree

Apply
Click
Apply
to save your changes to the Switch’s run-time memory. The Switch
loses these changes if it is turned off or loses power, so use the
Save
link on the
top navigation panel to save your changes to the non-volatile memory when you
are done configuring.
Cancel
Click
Cancel
to begin configuring this screen afresh.
