Congratulations on your choice of our appliance, and
welcome among the users of Zelmer products.
In order to achieve best possible results we recommend
using exclusively original Zelmer accessories. They have
been specially designed for this product.
Please read these instructions carefully. Pay your
special attention to important safety instructions,
in order to prevent accidents and/or avoid damaging
the appliance. Keep this “Instructions for use” for future
reference.
The appliance is intended for household use, indoors
only. The heating surface is coated with special non-stick
layer, therefore do not use sharp utensils for turning grilled
products.
Use only soft wooden spatula.
Safety and proper use instructions
Connect the appliance to AC mains supply 230 V with
●
grounding. You may use an extension cord (3 conductors)
conducting current intensity min. 10 A.
The supplying cord and extension cord can not be in
●
touch with water or other liquids.
Do not unplug pulling by the cord.
●
Do not start up the appliance, In case the supplying cord
●
or housing, thermostat and grids are visibly damaged.
Make a visual inspection before each start-up.
Use the appliance with original thermostat only – with
●
supplying cord and accessories.
If the non-detachable part of the cord is damaged,
it should be replaced by the producer or at a proper
service point or by a qualified person in order to avoid
any hazards.
The appliance should be repaired by trained staff only.
Improper repair can result in serious hazard for a user. In
case of defects we recommend you to contact qualified
service desk.
In order to provide additional protection, it is
●
recommended to install the residual current device
(RCD) with nominal residual power not exceeding
30 mA. You should contact the professional electrician
in this concern.
Keep the proper space over and around the grill to
●
provide an easy air flow. Do not let the appliance touch
curtains, wall-paper, cloths, towels or other combustible
materials during operation. Do not use under cupboards
or curtains. Be careful in case of surface sensitive for
heat – thermo isolating pad is recommended.
Place the appliance only at dry, flat, firm and heat-
●
resistant surface.
Do not place the appliance on or near open fire, hot
●
burner or heated oven.
ATTENTION: It is not allowed to use charcoal or similar
combustive materials.
Before usage make sure that grease drip tray and grill
●
are properly assembled on the base.
Do not use your grill without grease drip tray assembled.
●
Fill the grease drip tray with water up to max level, to
●
reduce smoke emission and make cleaning easier.
Do not move the grill pulling by supplying cord.
●
Do not let the supplying cord touch hot surfaces.
●
Do not touch the plug and temperature adjustment knob
●
with wet hands.
Do not touch hot surfaces.
●
If necessary to remove the grill, at first unplug it. After
●
cooling down, move carrying with handles using kitchen
gloves, as the handles can be still hot.
Take special
safety measures!
Use not sharp, the best wooden utensils to turn the ford,
●
in order to avoid scratching non-sticking surface.
In case it is necessary to use sharp utensils and knives,
●
i.e. to cut something when grilling, at first remove the
product from the grids.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons
●
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
●
play with the appliance.
The appliance is not intended to be operated by means
●
of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
It s not allowed to cover the heating plate with aluminium
●
foil, lid, etc, which can result with heat accumulation and
damage plastic parts and the layer
The appliance is intended solely for household use,
●
indoors.
Apply the recommended temperature setting. You can
●
adjust the temperature during grilling if necessary.
Let the appliance cool down before cleaning or
●
disassembling.
Do not use aggressive detergents like cream, milk,
●
paste etc. to clean the casing. They can remove graphic
symbols such as: scales, marking, caution signs, etc.
Always disassemble thermostat before immersing in
●
water to avoid electric shock.
Do not wash the parts in dishwasher.
●
Do not immerse temperature sensor, supplying cord or
●
plug neither in water nor in any other liquid.
Dry thoroughly after cleaning.
●
Make sure the appliance
is completely dry before thermostat assembling.
