12.1 Instrument table
WARNING!
Electrical hazard due to improper electrical connection
Improper electrical installation may cause an electric shock.

Connect the laser console via the IT 1060.i / IT 760.i
instrument table. If using another table, the user is solely
responsible for ensuring the electrical safety of the system.
CAUTION!
Mechanical hazard due to instability
Injury may be caused by falling parts.
u
When selecting a suitable table, ensure that the combination of
table and device is stable up to a tilt angle of 10°. The table
must be designed for 4 times the weight of the device configu-
ration.

When using a mobile table ensure that the casters have locking
devices.

If you mount or set down the Panel PC on the IT 1060.i
instrument table, it is essential to attach the foot extension (see
instrument table user manual) to the instrument table.
12.2 Laser endoprobes
CAUTION!
Hazard due to laser radiation
Optical fiber fatigue as a result of re-sterilization and re-use may
result in fiber breaks and misdirection of the laser beam. This may
result in injury.

Comply with storage conditions and expiry dates of the laser
endoscopes.

Do not use the laser endoscope if the probe or its packaging is
damaged.

Use the laser endoscope only once. Resterilization is not
permitted.
It is recommended to use VISULAS green with laser endoprobes by
ZEISS as the efficacy and safety of this combination has been
demonstrated. As a rule, VISULAS green is prepared for use with
commercial endoprobes from third party suppliers which have been
approved for intraocular treatment. Carl Zeiss Meditec accepts no
liability for the use of third party's laser endoprobes.
These laser endoprobes must conform to the following specifica-
tions:
