Peer-to-peer connection of printer with CIRRUS photo
•
Connect the network printer or printer server to the CIRRUS photo using
a so-called crossover cable or a non-crossover cable with a crossover
adapter.
Select the length of the network cable such that the printer can be
positioned outside the patient environment (at least 1.5 m from
the patient to be examined).
•
Switch on the CIRRUS photo and printer or printer server.
•
Configure the network printer or printer server with the aid of the user
manual provided with the device as follows:
IP address:
192.168.100.6
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Connection of printer via an existing network
The administrator responsible for your local network must first of
all set up a network printer or printer server in the network. The
procedure for printer configuration is described in the user manual
for the network printer or printer server. The IP address and subnet
mask to be used will be assigned by the administrator of the
network.
•
Connect the CIRRUS photo to the network with a network cable.
•
Switch on the CIRRUS photo and printer or printer server.
•
Click on the Print setup entry in the File menu.
•
In the following dialog click to Add new printer and install the network
printer using the installation wizard.
