There are 15 beeps representing the height from the ground at which the door will stop and not reverse
when it encounters an obstruction. The beeps relate to roughly 1/8” steps with 4” cable drums -‐ press and
release the ILLUMINATED button after the required number of beeps. The default is 4 beeps, you MUST test
that the door will still reverse off a 1.5” high object (or a 2” by 4” board laid flat) after altering this setting.
Release after the
third
beep to
enable or reset the service due reminder
, there are two confirmation beeps.
The Control Box will beep
during
closing after 9,900 cycles have been completed and beep for 10 seconds
before
closing after 10,000 door cycles have been completed. The reminder is disabled by default.
Release after the
fourth
beep to
disable the service due reminder
, there are four confirmation beeps. The
service due reminder will not come back on until it has been enabled again – this is the factory default.
Release the ILLUMINATED button after the
fifth
beep for
safety edges
. This option switches between safety
types: One long beep indicates that the safety input works to the ground for use with photo eyes (default);
two beeps indicate that the safety input is disabled just before the ground for use with safety edges.
User functions using the illuminated button
With the door fully closed or after the power has been turned on, press and
HOLD
the
ILLUMINATED
button, there is one medium beep every 3 seconds:
Release the ILLUMINATED button after the
first
beep for
vacation mode
.
The light goes out and the radios and external inputs are all ignored until the
button has been pressed again to leave vacation mode.
Release the ILLUMINATED button after the
second
beep to obtain the
cycle
count
: there are long beeps for 100,000's, medium beeps for 10,000’s, short
beeps for 1,000's and rapid beeps for 100's of open-‐close cycles completed.
Release the ILLUMINATED button after the
third
beep to obtain the
system status
: there are long and short
beeps in groups of 8 beeps, the length of the beeps indicate the status of different parts of the system.

fourth
beep for the
serial number
: there is a unique sequence of
long and short beeps in groups of 8 beeps.
Factory reset using the PROGRAM Button
Unplug the power cable or switch off the power, press and
HOLD
the
PROGRAM
button and plug the power cable back in or switch on the
power – there is one beep every 4 seconds:
Release the PROGRAM button after the
second
beep for the
factory
reset
: There is a sequence of beeps and flashes lasting for several
seconds as all of the factory default settings are restored.
The factory default settings are: Obstruction tolerance 6, open to a physical obstruction, closing speed
change height 12”, closing soft start duration 4 seconds, auto-‐close time 15 seconds
