FAULT
8.
The door carries on running beyond the programmed open position.
REASON & REMEDY
A.
The default setting for the Operator is to open until a physical end stop is encountered. If the
door must stop prior to a physical end stop then refer to the Installer Programming on page 11 to
alter the open stopping mode and then refer to pages 9 and 10 to re-‐calibrate the door.
B.
If the Operator is already programmed to open to a programmed position then it will sometimes
run beyond this point if the door is moved by hand. If the system does not recover automatically
within a couple of cycles then turn the power off, close the door to the ground manually, re-‐
engage the Manual Override Lever and turn the power back on again.
FAULT
8.
The door stops before it reaches the fully open or fully closed position.
REASON & REMEDY
A.
The door movement is stiff or the door is badly out of balance. Release the Manual Override
Lever and move the door from fully closed to fully open and back to closed again. Any issues with
door balance and door irregularities should be corrected and the calibration process should be
completed again.
B.
The ZAP Controller has not been calibrated to this door. Refer to the calibration process on pages
9 and 10.
C.
The obstruction tolerance may be too low. Refer to the Installer Programming instructions on
page 11 to increase the obstruction tolerance to a higher value than 6 and then re-‐calibrate the
door (pages 9 and 10).
FAULT
9.
The closing door stops and reopens when it contacts the ground.
REASON & REMEDY
A.
The door has altered since the ZAP Controller was last calibrated to the door. Refer to the
calibration process on pages 9 and 10.
B.
The reversing decision height is set too low. Refer to the Service Programming guide on page 12.
C.
The door is programmed to open to a set position and it has been moved manually. Turn the
power off, close the door to the ground and turn the power back on again.
