HOLD
the
PROGRAM
button again
and ensure that the door movement is now
correct. Continue holding the
PROGRAM
button.
When the door reaches the fully open position,
release the
PROGRAM
button, the opening light
should remain lit (Pic 21) and the beeper will
sound repeatedly to indicate that it is ready to
learn the distance to the ground.

Press and

the door, release the button immediately the
door reaches the ground. If the door stops
before the ground, release the
PROGRAM
button, release the Manual Override Lever, close
the door to the ground and re-‐engage the
Manual Override Lever. Repeat calibration steps

and if the door will still not reach the
fully open or fully closed position then the door
may be out of balance or poorly maintained and
should be serviced.

Once the door has fully opened and fully
closed, release the
PROGRAM
button and press
the
illuminated
Control Box button (Pic 22).

If there are no safety devices fitted then this
button must be held while the third stage of the
calibration process is carried out, otherwise it
can be released once the door starts to open.
The door should automatically open fully, wait
and then close fully. During this process it will
beep repeatedly and the Operator Light will
flash to warn that the Control Head is learning
the force profile of the door. Keep clear of the
door and wait for the third stage to end.

Once the third stage of the calibration process
is complete, the door will be closed and the
Operator Light will be lit with the beeper
sounding once every 5 seconds to indicate entry
into diagnostic mode. The door can now be
cycled using the
illuminated
Control Box button.
During the diagnostic runs, the door balance is
indicated by the brightness of the Operator
Light, the beeper will sound if a track irregularity
is detected, and the beeper will sound
repeatedly if the belt is slipping when the door is
at the fully open or closed position. See the
fault finding section on page 11 for further
details.

To exit the diagnostic mode, press and release
the
PROGRAM
button, there will be two beeps
to indicate that the calibration is completed.
The Operator Light will fade out after 3 minutes.
TESTING THE DOOR OPERATION
Once calibration is complete the door should be
cycled normally a few times using the
illuminated
Control Box button to ensure
correct operation, the door must reverse when
it contacts a 1.5” high object (or a 2” by 4” board
laid flat) on the floor (Pic 23). See pages 11 and
12 to adjust the reversing decision height, the
soft start duration, the closing speed change
point and the obstruction tolerance if required.
Finally adjust the Manual Override Lever
tension now that the V-‐belt has bedded in.

There is an automatic close facility which can be
enabled by turning on the AUTOCLOSE switch.
The factory default close time is 15 seconds;
refer to the programming guide to alter the
time. The beeper will sound and the Operator
Light will flash for 5 seconds before the start of
the automatic close to warn of an impending
unattended door operation.
