QUICK PROGRAMMING GUIDE
Radio programming using the LEARN button (see page 9)
Locate the small
LEARN
button on the top edge of the radio receiver module inside
the Control Box. Press the
LEARN
button:
To
program
a transmitter, release the learn button when the receiver light comes on:
Press and hold the required button on the
transmitter
until the receiver light starts to
flash.
To
erase
all stored transmitters, release the learn button when the receiver light
turns off again (after about 12 seconds).
Installer programming using the PROGRAM Button
Press and
HOLD
the
PROGRAM
button, there is one beep every 3 seconds:
Release the PROGRAM button after the
first
beep for the
calibration reset
–
see pages 9 & 10 for further details.
Release the PROGRAM button after the
second
beep to alter the
obstruction
tolerance
:
There are 15 beeps representing increasing tolerance to obstructions – press and release the ILLUMINATED
button after the required number of beeps. The default setting is 6 and a calibration reset (pages 9 & 10) is
required for any new setting to take effect.
Release the PROGRAM button after the
third
beep to alter the
open stopping mode
:
This alternates between programming the control head to open to a physical obstruction such as pusher
springs or the cable drums (2 beeps and 2 flashes) or open to the height determined during the initial slow
calibration runs (1 long beep and 2 flashes). The default setting is to open to a physical obstruction. A
calibration reset (pages 9 & 10) is required for a new setting to take effect.
Release the PROGRAM button after the
fourth
beep to program the
closing speed change point
:
14 beeps representing 2” height increases with 4” cable drums – press and release the ILLUMINATED button
after the required number of beeps e.g. the default of 6 beeps will cause the door to slow down when it is
12” from the ground. A calibration reset may be required after altering the closing speed change height.
Release the PROGRAM button after the
fifth
beep to alter the
soft start time
:
Press and release the ILLUMINATED button after the required closing soft start time (0.5 to 10 seconds,
default 4). The door will ramp up to full closing speed within the programmed time. The opening soft start
time is set to half the closing soft start time. A calibration reset may be needed after changing the soft start.
Service programming using the illuminated button
Unplug the power cable or switch off the power, press and
HOLD
the
ILLUMINATED
button and plug the power cable back in or switch on the power -‐
there is a beep every 4 seconds:
Release the ILLUMINATED button after the
first
beep to alter the
auto-‐close timer
:
Press and release the ILLUMINATED button to start timing and press and release
the ILLUMINATED button again after the required time (5s to 96s, default 15s).
The auto-‐close DIP switch on the control board must be switched ON for the auto-‐
close function to be active. The beeper will sound and the operator light will flash
during the final 5 seconds prior to the start of an automatic close.
