5.4 Mounting the All-weather
protector
1. Loosen the hexagon socket head bolt and
remove the protector lock.
2. Screw the nut part of the all-weather protector
to the thread part.

IMPORTANT
When installing the all-weather protector, screw
the protector by tightening the lower nut part.
Screwing the protector by holding the protector
body may cause failure such as mechanical
damage. The same manner should be taken
when unscrewing the protector.
3. Attach the protector lock and screw the
hexagon socket bolt to fix the all-weather
protector.

WARNING
Special conditions for Safe Use
• Electrostatic charges on the non-metallic
parts (excluding glass parts) or the coated
parts of the equipment, or on non-metallic
parts of accessories shall be avoided.
When the equipment is used in hazardous
areas, avoid any actions which generate
electrostatic charges, such as rubbing with a
dry cloth.
• The enclosure contains aluminum and is
considered a potential risk of ignition caused
by impact or friction. When the equipment is
used in a potentially explosive atmosphere
requiring EPL Ga, it must be installed such
that, even in the event of rare incidents,
ignition sources due to impact and/or friction
sparks are excluded.
• The circuit of WN100 is connected to the
enclosure and not insulated from earth.
