7.3.4 Device Tag and Device Information
Procedure to Read the Device Tag and Device
Information
• Device Tag (Software Tag)
This is specified by writing characters (up to
16 characters) that differs from those specified
in Tag No. to the module. For details how to
confirm this, refer to subsection 6.2 “Connecting
to the Field Wireless Network”.
• Tag Description
This is a universal parameter to store the
comment that describes the content of the tag
located in the WNO and AI1/AI2/AI3 blocks.
Limitation of Device Information
When changing the device information, input the
information based on the following limitation on the
number of characters.
• Message function (up to 32 characters)
• WNO block: Tag Description
AI1/AI2/AI3 block: Tag Description
7.3.5 Sensor Function Setting
Setting the Measurement Period
Set “Measurement Period” of WNO block to
configure the time interval of the measurement
within the range of 10 to 600 seconds.
This setting affects the measurement period of L
Aeq,T
,
L
Ceq,T
, L
Cpeak
, and 1/3 octave band.
Though the measurement period and the update
time for the output data are set independently, we
recommend it to set the same time.
Setting the Octave Band Switch
Set “Octave Band Switch” of WNO block to “0:
OFF” or “1: ON (default)” to disable or enable the
measurement of the octave band.
1/3 octave band is supported for WN100.
The values of 1/3 octave band can be read from
“Octave Band L” or “Octave Band H” of WNO block.
And 1/3 octave band and L
Aeq,T
, L
Ceq,T
, L
Cpeak
can be
output (published) through Packed Data.
NOTE
The measurement period setting affects the
battery life if the Octave Band Switch is “On”.
Shorter the measurement period, shorter the
battery life.
Setting the Time Synch Switch
Set “Time Synch Switch” of WNO block to “0: OFF”
or “1: ON(default)” to disable or enable the time-
synchronization function.
With this function enabled, the sound measurement
timing of WN100s that are connected to same
YFGW410 Field Wireless Management Station
will be synchronized and the difference will be
maintained within 10 ms.
The status of the time synchronization is readable
on “Time Sync Status” of WNO as Table 7.3.
Table 7.3
Time Synch Status
Value
Description
0: Not synchronized
The calculation timing of
the process value is NOT
synchronizing.
1: Synchronized
The calculation timing
of the process value is
synchronizing.
Setting the Temperature correction switch
Set “Temperature correction switch of WNO block
to “0:OFF or 1:ON(default) to disable or enable
the correction of the microphone sensitivity by the
temperature. Ordinary the function can be used
with default (enable) setting but the function can be
disabled if necessary.
