Class 1M Laser Product
The product may have a built-in light source (depending
on the OSICS modules installed), which makes it a
class 1M laser product, as defined by the standard on
safety of laser products (see section
). This means that it is safe under all
conditions of normal use except when viewed with
optical instruments such as microscopes and telescopes.
Class 1M lasers produce large-diameter beams, or
beams that are divergent.
Laser Radiation Label
Affixed on OSICS modules, this label indicates the
location of the laser source.
Do not look directly into the fiber end of an optical
cable connected to any optical output while the device
is in use. This may cause permanent eye damage.
Caution while Handling Label
(OSICS ECL and T100 modules only). This label is affixed
on the module side panel, as pressing the sides could
result in potential damage to the product.
Electrical Safety Label
This label indicates an injury hazard. It appears on a
location that requires special instructions for proper use:
