You can place a call or add a new call quickly using the hard keys on the EXP40.
To place a call when the phone is idle using the EXP40:

Press an EXP key corresponding to the contact you want to call.
You can press the page key to turn pages.
To add a new call during a call using the EXP40:
1.
Press an EXP key corresponding to the contact you want to add.
The call will be placed directly.
Initiating a Conference Call Using the EXP40
You can initiate a conference call quickly using the hard keys on the EXP40.
To initiate
a conference call using the EXP40:
1.
Tap during a call.
2.
Press an EXP key corresponding to the contact you want to call.
You can press the page key to turn pages.

fter the party answers the call, three parties are now joined in the conference.
