Yanmar Cathodic Protection System
The Yanmar Cathodic Protection System
(Y-CaPS) has a 20A in-line fuse
(Figure 12, (2)) in the wire which connects
to the positive (+) terminal on the controller.
If the fuse blows, the system will not operate
resulting in a loss of corrosion protection.
Test Y-CaPS to ensure adequate output.
The test should be performed where the
vessel is moored, using a reference
electrode and test meter. Contact your
authorized Yanmar Marine dealer or
distributor for assistance, if necessary.
