CHECKING AND ADJUSTING THE STEERING HEAD

3. Remove:

• bottom cowling
• front cowling

Refer to “COWLINGS”.

4. Remove:

• front brake fluid reservoir

• clutch fluid reservoir

5. Loosen:

• upper bracket pinch bolts

• handlebar pinch bolts

6. Remove:

• upper bracket bolts

• handlebars

(from the upper bracket)

7. Remove:

• steering stem nut

• washer

• upper bracket

8. Adjust:

• steering head
