1.24 Getting Started
Setting the Date and Time
The current date and time are shown in the display when the
machine is on and ready for use (Standby mode). The date
and time are printed on all faxes that you send.
When you install your machine for the first time, the display
prompts you to reset the date and time.

Press the Setup button on the front panel. the display
shows the first setup menu; “FAX NUMBER/NAME.”

Press or until “TIME/DATE SETUP” appears, then
press the Start/Enter button to access the Time/Date
Setup menu.

The display prompts you to choose a “DATE FORMAT.”
Press the
Start/Enter button.

Press or to select the desired date format, then
press the Start/Enter button.

OTE
: If you select USA, the date appears in format of Month-
Day-Year. The EUROPE format will be displayed in format of
Day-Month-Year.
The display shows the currently set date and time using
the selected date format and prompts you to set the
month. The cursor is under the first digit of the month
and the number is blinking.

Enter the correct date and time for each item using the
number keypad. Each time you enter the appropriate
number, the display prompts you to enter the next item
