Fax and Copy Operations

Additional Functions

Sending a Flash  

Some special phone services require a switch-hook signal for 
proper operation. For example, if you have call-waiting, you 
can put a call on hold and take a second call on the same line 
by pressing the 

Flash/Status

 button.

When you are talking on the telephone and hear the call 
waiting signal, press the 

Flash/Status

 button once. The 

first caller is put on hold and you are connected to the 
second caller.

Press the 

Flash/Status

 button again to talk to the first 

caller again.

OTE

:

 If you do not have call waiting service setup on the 

phone line, do not press  the 

Flash/Status

 button during a 

call. If you do, you could disconnect the line.
