Removing Jammed Paper in Tray 5 
(Bypass Tray)

If a paper jam occurs in paper tray 5 (bypass tray), remove the jammed paper 
according to the steps below.

Procedure

1

Check the back (behind the paper 
supply section) of paper tray 5 (bypass 
tray), and remove the jammed paper if 
there is any. 

If multiple sheets of paper are loaded, remove all the 
sheets at once. 

It is recommended to load coated paper, labels, or envelopes one by one.

2

Adjust the sheets and insert them 
carefully into the paper supply section 
with the side that is to be printed on 
facing down.
