Resetting the Counter
After replacing the fuser unit, perform the required
control panel operations to reset their respective
counters.
When replacing the fuser unit, be sure to reset the
counter on the control panel.
1.
On the control panel, press the < > and
<OK> buttons at the same time.
This displays the [Consumables Menu].
2.
Press the < > so [Reset Counter] is
displayed.
3.
Press either the < > or <OK> button to
select.
[Fuser Assembly] is displayed.
4.
Press either the < > or <OK> button to
select.
5.
This resets the counter for the fuser unit.
6.
Press the <Menu> button to close the menu.
Replacing the Transfer
Belt Cleaner
Replace the fuser unit and the transfer belt
cleaner at the same time.
Replacement Procedure
Important
• Before setting down a used transfer belt cleaner, spread
out the plastic sheet from the new transfer belt cleaner
to prevent things from getting dirty.
1.
Open the front cover.
2.
Rotate the transfer belt cleaner cover on the
front right side to open it.
3.
Loosen the knob.
Turn the knob until it pops out.
