Managing Printer Usage
Service Note
This menu is generally intended for service personnel use.
Allows you to modify operating system parameters, run diagnostics and obtain
configuration information. The Service menu items are:
Configuration
Sheet Prints the configuration sheet showing the printer's current
information and menu settings.
Print Service
Pack Prints the system test patterns and configuration pages used by the
Xerox service organization. The following set is printed:
Diagnostic Summary
Configuration Page
Network Summary
System Event Log
Print Diag
Summary Prints the current diagnostic summary data.
Print PQ Set Prints the PQ set (one of each):
“Test Pattern A”
“Color Balance”
“Diagnostic Page”

Summary
Prints network traffic and diagnostic information.
Print Test
Patterns
Prints the system test patterns:
100% Stripe
Blank
Cyan Step
Magenta Step
Yellow Step Black Halftone
PS Pattern A
Gray Step
Color Balance
Print
Quantity
Sets the number of times each diagnostic report page is printed
(uncollated).
This value is reset to 1 upon exiting the service menu.
Select Tray Selects the source tray from which the diagnostic report is to be
printed.
This value appears only if optional Trays 2 and 3 are installed.

Displays summary page count data on the front panel:

Usage
Displays percentage remaining on the front panel for the following
Customer Replaceable Consumables (CRC):
Black Imaging Drum
Cyan Imaging Drum
Magenta Imaging Drum
Yellow Imaging Drum

Transfer Belt
Indicates CRC usage by displaying values OK, Low, or Empty for
the following CRCs on the front panel:
Black Toner
Cyan Toner
Magenta Toner
Yellow Toner
