Connecting to the web interface
Now the transmitter is set, connect it to the network.
Though the web application is compatible with most browsers, performances vary from one browser to another.
Below is a list of compatible browsers from the most performing to the less performing by operating system:
Windows XP: Google Chrome / Mozilla Firefox
Windows Vista: Google Chrome / Mozilla Firefox
Windows 7: Google Chrome / Mozilla Firefox / Microsoft Internet Explorer 11
Windows 8: Google Chrome / Mozilla Firefox / Microsoft Internet Explorer 11
Mac (OSX 10.9): Google Chrome / Mozilla Firefox / Safari
Linux (2013): Google Chrome / Mozilla Firefox
You may also use Google Chrome Portable available on the Ecreso CD; this version can work without being
installed on your PC (it can be on a flash drive).
The browser may display a message indicating that the connection is not certified. Audemat cannot indeed certify
your unit’s address; however, the site is secured (data is encrypted) and you may proceed to access it.
Open a web browser and enter in the address bar the transmitter’s IP address such as it was set above.
Select the language if necessary.
Enter the user name and password (default:
Admin
/
admin
) and the screen name of your choice. It is used to
communicate with other connected users.
You can now access the web interface.
!
The transmitter must be in remote mode before parameters can be modified. Press the Local button if needed.
