Naming the Channels
Channels can be named so that they are easily identified via the status window.
To name or rename a channel, select
Edit this channel name
from the shortcut
(right click) menu.
Changing the Channel Sequence
When using a channel list your favorite channels don’t have to be sequentially
numbered. (i.e. 2, 3, 4, 5...) You can change the channel sequence in the list to
fit your viewing preferences. For example, you can gather all your favorite
channels together at the beginning of the channel list regardless of the channel
number. (i.e. 45, 2, 50, 6...)
To change the sequence, select the channel in the list that you want to move
and click the up or down arrow at the right side of the dialog box.
Time-Shifting
“Time-shifting” allows you to record TV in real-time for playback at your
convenience. Through time-shifting you have the ability to pause video input,
take a viewing break, and then resume playback as if you never stopped
watching the program.
1. When you are ready to temporarily stop watching video, press the
Time
Shift
button to start recording.
2. When you are back, pressing the
Play
button will present both the
live TV source and the recorded TV file in a PIP (Picture-In-Picture) style.
By default, the recorded playback
displays on the main screen and
live TV displays on the sub screen.
3. The video image right is
for reference only.
