Status Window

FM Switch
Switches to WinFast FM for listening to FM radio.

Help
Opens the WinFast online help.
Minimize
Minimizes the Control Panel to the tool bar. Only the
CH-

CH+
and
Volume
buttons remain visible on the
bottom left corner of the viewing window.
Exit WinFast TV
Exits the WinFast TV program.
Mute
Toggles mute on or off.
Volume
Controls the volume level, indicated by colors ranging
from blue (low) to red (high).
Record
Records the live TV broadcast. (See “Recording Live TV
and Playing Back” later in this section.)
Time Shift
Records and then plays back while recording. (See
“Time-Shifting” later in this section.)
Snapshot
Takes a snapshot and saves it as a .bmp file.
Open Media File
Opens an explorer window for you to browse for the
media file you wish to play. Double click on the file to
play. (See “Recording Live TV and Playing Back” later in
this section.)
Configuration
Opens the WinFast TV Setup dialog box with 4 tabs.
(See “WinFast TV Configuration” later in this section.)
Channel Up/Down
Goes to the previous or next channel.
Input Source
Switches to a different video input source (TV, S-video
or A/V).
