TV Set
With the built-in TV tuner, you can use your system to watch TV or play back
video from an external source.
Note: To watch cable TV, you need to have an account with a cable TV provider.
Turning the TV Set On/Off
To use your system as a TV set, press the
TV/VCR
button on the remote
control. If your system is off when you press the button, you will start in
AV mode
.
When you have finished using the player, you can switch directly to another
element. If you want to directly turn the system off, press the
Stand By
button
on the remote control or the power button on the top side of the unit.
Scanning TV Channels
You must scan all available channels before you can watch TV.
When you use TV in
AV mode
for the very first time, the channels
will be automatically scanned. After that, you can use the remote control
to switch to a channel for watching.
Watching TV
1. Press the
TV/VCR
button on the remote control. Live TV will be shown
on the screen.
2. To control the TV set, use the remote control. (See the following diagram
for instructions.)
