MAINTENANCE MANUAL for WORKSHOP HYDRAULIC
PRESSES
1) LIABILITY OF PRESS OWNER AND/OR USER
This ma nual is an in te gral part of the press and must al ways ac com pa ny it, even in the event of
sale. The press ow ner and/or user must know the ope ra ting in struc tions and re com men da tions
be fo re using the press. If the ope ra tor does not ful ly un der stand the lan gua ge of this ma nual,
the in struc tions have to be read and ex plai ned in his or her na ti ve lan gua ge ma king sure the
mea ning is un der stood.
The ma nu fac tu rer shall not be held liab le for any da ma ge to per -
sons or ob jects due to an im pro per or non- per mit ted use of the press.

LIFTING AND HANDLING
The pres ses have to be han dled and po si tio ned using fork- lift trucks or work shop cra nes that
sup port the weight.
STORAGE
The pac king has to be kept in a co ve red and shel te red pla ce at a tem pe ra tu re betwe en -10°C
and +40°C.
SAFETY
Do not use the press for pur po ses ot her than tho se for which it was de si gned.
Do not work alongsi de pi e ces whi le the ram is mo ving or when it is un der pres su re.
The sa fe ty val ve is ca li bra ted and sea led by the ma nu fac tu rer:

ERECTION

Take the press out of it plu ri ball wrap ping, chec king that the ma chi ne has not been da ma ged
du ring tran sport and that the re are all the pie ces in di ca ted in the pac king list. The pac king ma te -
rial has to be di spo sed of in com plian ce with the re gu la tions in for ce in the co untry whe re the
press is be ing erec ted or recycled or re u sed.
Fit the feet to the body of the press by scre wing them on with the nuts and bolts sup plied (Fig. 1).

fix the press to a so lid bench of a su i ta ble ca pa city
load (see press we ights), loc king it by me ans of thro ugh bolts and nuts to the wor kbench.
For all ot her models posi tion the press on a flat and fully le vel led sur fa ce. Insi de the feet the re
are two ho les for fi xing to the gro und by using ex pan sion plugs of a lar ge cross-sec tion.
Re mo ve the cap on the top of the ram,
seal the thre ad of the pres su re ga u ge with Te flon
and
screw the pres su re ga u ge onto the ram, tig hte ning it with a span ner un til it is fully loc ked (Fig. 2).

: Unscrew the winch han dle that, for pac king con ve nien ce, is
sup plied up tur ned; then screw it on cor rectly, loc king it with a span ner (Fig. 3). Lightly gre a se
the winch pins.
