F. Removing the TRANSFORMER ASSEMBLY
(item 8)
1. Remove the TOP PANEL ASSEMBLY
(item 1) as instructed in Part A.
2. Remove the MAIN P.C. BOARD
ASSEMBLY (item 14) as instructed in
Part D, Steps 2-4
3. Unplug the BROWN, BLUE, and
GREEN/YELLOW wires from the RFI
FILTER (item 7)
4. Remove the bolt (items 19, 21, and 22)
securing the fuse plate to the BASE
HOUSING ASSEMBLY (item 17).
5. Remove the bolt (items 20, 23, and 24)
securing the transformer nearest to the
front of the PRINTER/CHARGER.
NOTE: Refer to the parts drawing when
reassembling, be sure to use this bolt in the same
position (item 80 is 0.630 inches long, and this bolt
uses two pieces of items 23 and 24).
6. Remove the bolt (items 27, 23, and 24)
securing the transformer nearest to the
rear of the PRINTER CHARGER.
NOTE: Refer to the parts drawing when
reassembling, be sure to use this bolt in the same
position (item 27 is 0.437 inches long).
7. Remove the TRANSFORMER
ASSEMBLY.
Reassembly is the reverse of disassembly.
NOTE: Torque both bolts (items 20 or 27, 22,
and 24) to 8 - 10 in lbs.
Refer to the parts drawing for correct position of the
BROWN and BLUE wires.
