2.1.2 Electrical Grounding Requirements
All electrically operated appliances must be grounded in accordance with all applicable national and
local codes, and, where applicable, CE codes. All units (cord connected or permanently connected)
should be connected to a grounded power supply system. A wiring diagram is located on the inside
of the fryer door. Refer to the rating plate on the inside of the fryer door for proper voltages.
The equipotential grounding lug indicated by illustration (right) allows all the
equipment in the same location to be electrically connected to ensure there is no
electrical potential difference between the units, which could be hazardous.
2.1.3 Australian Requirements
To be installed in accordance with AS 5601 and AS/NZS 3000:2007 local authorities, gas,
electricity, and any other relevant statutory regulations.
If casters are fitted, the installation must comply with AS5601 and AS1869 requirements.
2.2 Power Requirements
The optional three phase supply plug for 208v and 240v delta configuration fryers are rated at 60
amps, 250 VAC and is NEMA configuration 15-60P.
