4.5 Connecting the incremental rotary encoder
Use shielded cables to connect the rotary enco-
der.
▶
Connect channel A of the rotary encoder to connec-
tion DI 4.
▶
Connect channel B of the rotary encoder to connec-
tion DI 5.
▶
If available, connect the zero track (channel Z) of the
rotary encoder to connection DI 1.
▶
Connect the supply voltage as shown in the figure.
