Important information about single-channel use!
The single-channel use of an output for a safety function is only permitted if 1-
fault safety is not required! With single-channel use, shutdown must be ensured
by the standard control in the event of an error. This can be achieved by
integrating a 2nd disconnection faculty (e.g., a line contactor K0) in the safety
application.
Important informatino about risk reduction!
When using the respective power outputs separately (H Side/H-Side 2 or
H-Side/L-Side 2) in two-channel safety functions, the field voltage supply must
not exceed a value of 35 V in the event of an error to ensure risk reductions above
SIL2.
You can use the PROFIsafe I/O module 750-666/000-003 to operate two
separately switchable loads if you set the value of the
Output Configuration
parameter to "H-Side/L-Side 2". Connect the first load between connection O1B
and the 0V potential of the field supply voltage and the second load between the
24V potential of the field supply voltage and connection O2A. In addition,
connect connection O2B to the 0V potential of the field supply voltage.

You must disable line break detection for the loads by setting the
Line break
detection
parameter to "inactive". For more information about configuring the
PROFIsafe I/O module, read section "Parameterization of the PROFIsafe I/O
Module with the WAGO Parameterization Tool".
Please note that line break detection may not be part of the safety function under
any circumstances.
