Manual
Version 1.2.0, valid from HW/SW Version 01/01
The choice of operating mode only affects the digital inputs and clock outputs of
the PROFIsafe I/O module.
If you want to connect the cam switch of a rotary table or one or more operating
mode selector switches to the digital inputs of the PROFIsafe I/O module, you
have to set the parameter to the "Rotary table" value.
If you set the
Operating mode
parameter to "Round table", the PROFIsafe I/O
module behaves as follows:
•
The
Dual channel
parameter is only accepted by the PROFIsafe I/O module
with the "no" value.
•
The
Short circuit test
parameter is only accepted by the PROFIsafe I/O
module with the "active" value.
•
All inputs are sensitive to clock output T1 and are tested for short circuit on
any 24 V signal source.
•
Clock output T2 is switched off.
•
The signal states on the digital inputs are not analyzed by the PROFIsafe I/O
module.
7.4.5.8
ParameterOutput Configuration Parameter
The
Output Configuration
parameter is used to define the wiring used for the
load or loads to digital power outputs O1 and O2. Digital power output O2 is
designed, so that it can be used to switch the 24V potential (H-Side) or to switch
the 0V potential of the field supply voltage (L-Side). Digital output O2 can only
be used to switch the 24V potential.
Four different output configurations are possible with the PROFIsafe I/O module
750-666/000-003 for single-channel or two-channel switching.
7.4.5.8.1 Output Configuration H-Side/L-Side 1
If you have set the
Output Configuration
parameter to the value "H-Side/L-
Side 1", then the PROFIsafe I/O module switches the 24V and 0V potential of the
field supply voltage. The load is switched two-channel and separated completely
from the field supply voltage. Connect the load between connection O1B and
O2A. Connection O2B is connected to the 0V potential of the field voltage
supply. The load is switched using the bit 0 of the output process image.
