8.2.7 REPLACING THE HOSE SLEEVE

Cross section, upper half:

Removal of the defective sealing collar:
1. Remove fitted line connections on the squeeze valve.
2. Unscrew the screws (1) and remove the cover (2).
3. Pull out the sealing collar (3) with pliers.
4. Clean housing parts (4).
Installation of a new sealing collar:
1. Press the sealing collar (3) into the housing and centre it (overhang on both sides
approx. 3 mm).
2. Moisten clamping cone (5) and the inside of the sealing collar in the clamping area
with some soapy water or rubber care product (do not use grease or oil).
3. Tighten both covers (2) with four screws (1) apiece until the clamping cone (5)
enters into the end of the sealing collar.
4. Tighten the clamping cone (5).

– Press pre-assembled valve block together
under a press or in a bench vice.
– Tighten both covers to the housing by
alternately and evenly tightening the
screws.
– Firmly tighten all screws in this position.
