ASSEMBLY AND COMMISSIONING
6.1
TRAINING OF ASSEMBLY/COMMISSIONING PERSONNEL
The assembly and commissioning personnel must have the technical skills to safely
commission the device.
When assembling, commissioning and carrying out all work, read and follow the
operating manuals and safety regulations for the additionally required system
components.
A skilled person must check to ensure that the device is in a reliable state after it is
assembled and commissioned.
6.2
STORAGE CONDITIONS
Until the point of assembly, the device must be stored in a dry location, free from
vibrations and with a minimum of dust. The device must be stored in closed rooms.
The air temperature at the storage location must be between 0 and 40 °C; 32 and 104 °F.
The relative air humidity at the storage location must not exceed 75%.
6.3
INSTALLATION CONDITIONS
The air temperature at the installation site must be between 0 and 40 °C; 32 and 104 °F.
Depending on the powder lacquer used, the maximum permissible ambient temperature
for reliable operation can be significantly below 40 °C; 104 °F.
The relative air humidity at the installation site must not exceed 75%.

START UP
6.4.1 PREPARATION
Before the initial commissioning, the default settings of the pneumatic controller,
configured in the factory, must be checked.
This inspection takes place by switching the main switch on the peristaltic pump system's
control cabinet.
Depending on the application, the quantity of air for the feed air on the corresponding
throttle valve must be readjusted.
For the feed and vortex air, the air pressure can be set between 0.25 MPa; 2.5 bar; 36.26
psi and 0.45 MPa; 4.5 bar; 65.27 psi on the central pressure regulator.
Note:
A readjustment must always take place during idle running, i.e. without powder!
After checking the default setting or after adjusting the optimum feed air volume, the
funnel can again be coupled with the peristaltic pump under the cyclone.
The peristaltic pump system is operational.
Note:
– Before switching on the vibrator motor on the funnel, the cycle control on the
squeeze valve must be in operation!
– When switching off, proceed in the reverse order.
