8.2.6 NOTE ON THE USE OF THE COUPLINGS

– Before coupling, always make sure that the system is depressurized.
– Ensure that the sealing ring is present in the coupling body.
– Ensure that the coupling partners match each other.
– To ensure a secure connection, it is imperative that both lever arms are entirely applied.
– Coating powder can contain abrasive materials.
These can cause cavitation, which rubs off or damages the inner surface of the coupling
parts.
Carry out inspections at regular intervals.
Replace damaged parts.
– Make sure that the coupling partners are clean and do now show signs of damage.
Replace damaged parts.
– When connecting Kamlok couplings, chip dust my escape as a result of tightening
the cam arm.
Remove the chip dust before use.
