SPIDs
Some ISDN switch types require SPIDs, which are also assigned by the telephone
company. The SPID for each line may be the same number as the telephone number for
that line, or it may be a different number. The SPID registers your WG500 terminal
with the telephone switch.
If your ISDN line has one number, there will be only one SPID or DN. If your ISDN line
has two numbers, there will be two SPIDs or DNs.
DNs
Some ISDN switch types require DNs. The DN is usually the same number as the
telephone number assigned to the ISDN line.
If you do not know your switch type, SPIDs, or DNs, contact the telephone company
that installed the ISDN line or contact your local reseller.
