Chapter 3.  Software Configuration

You will only need to setup NetMeeting the first time you use it. If you click the 

Cancel

 

button at any time during the NetMeeting setup, NetMeeting will shut down and will 
not be available for you to use. If you want to finish the setup procedure later, you can 
access NetMeeting through the Programs menu. To access NetMeeting, click

Because NetMeeting is used by AppsView to accomplish the T.120 data collaboration 
functions, it is recommended that NetMeeting never be shut down. Each time 
AppsView is started, NetMeeting will also open in a minimized window. If AppsView is 
closed, NetMeeting will close, as well.

Windows NT users must initialize NetMeeting to 
enable AppSharing.

You will see this 
screen, after 
performing the audio 
test. The WG500 
system must have the 
microphone plugged 
into the VTEL codec 
board, therefore 
NetMeeting is unable 
to use it. Your system 
audio will be supplied 
through AppsView.
