Using the Printer
Create Full-Bleed Labels
When you design and print full-bleed labels, you may find that the image is cut off
around the edges of the label, as shown in
Figure 1
. This a characteristic of the
printer: an unprintable zone of 1.5 mm (0.06”) around the edges of any media size.

To overcome this problem, you should define a size that is 3 mm (0.12”) larger than
the actual media size. For example, define 63

43 mm media size to print on
60
×
40 mm labels. Then center the design on the label, leaving margins of 1.5 mm
(0.06”) all around as shown in
Figure 2
. This label will now print correctly edge to
edge.
