3.3. Block diagram
This paragraph provides a brief description, at block diagram level, of the
Rotograph EVO. Aim of this paragraph is to provide a brief description of
the system. More details about the electronic circuits which compose the
system can be obtained by analyzing the schematics provided in
Chapter 9.
During the description of the block diagram, please refer to Figure 3-1.
From the electrical point of view, the system can be divided into 4 main
blocks:
• Power supply assembly
• Main CPU board (A5)
•
Generator board (A10), Generator CPU board (A9) and tubehead
• Column CPU board (A1)
• Keyboard with its control board (A4).
All control boards above listed are equipped with a local microcontroller
that shares information with the main CPU using a CANBUS
transmission line and protocol.
