Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG WLAN Driver Installation
(Win2000)
1. Make sure the module is powered on, then insert the Intel PRO CD-
ROM into the CD drive.
2. See the sidebar note in order to determine which driver to install.
3. Click
Install Software (button).
4. Click Next .
5. Click the button to accept the license and click Next > Next > Install
> Finish .
6. Click Start (menu), point to Settings and click Control Panel .
7. Double-click System (icon).
8. Click Hardware (tab) > Device Manager (button).
9. Click “ + ” next to Other devices (if its sub-items are not shown).
10. Double-click Network Controller , and click Reinstall Driver (but-
ton).
11. When the Upgrade Device Driver Wizard appears, click Next > Next
(make sure that you have selected “Search for a suitable driver for
my device (recommended)” ).
12. When Locate Driver Files appears, select ONLY “ Specify a loca-
tion” and click Next .
13. Navigate (Browse...) to D:\PROW2200\WIN2K .
14. Click Open > OK > Next .
15. Click Finish and close the open windows.
