Messaging Actions
VDM Pro allows the user to perform the following messaging actions:

Restart Messaging
•
Stop Messaging
Restart Messaging
Restart Messaging action restarts the messaging system in the message console. During this action,
the system will be reset that is clear the fault status and reset the timestamp retrieval to zero.
1. Click
VDM Pro Tools > Restart Messaging
as shown in the screenshot below.

2. Check the
Auto Scroll
checkbox to scroll the messages displayed in the message console.
3. Click
Clear Console Entries
button to clear the message entries displayed in the message
console.
4. Click
Copy to clipboard
button to copy the entries to clipboard.
5. Click
Add/Edit Filter
button to add or edit filters. This opens a Messaging Console window as
shown in the screenshot.
