Note
The refrigerant lines of the indoor unit are filled with
nitrogen; positive pressure 1 to 2 bar (0.1 to 0.2 MPa).

Undo the nuts from connections
C
(liquid line) and
D
(hot gas line) of the refrigerant lines.
Types 221.C04 and 221.C06:
Replace nuts with union nuts supplied (indoor unit):

UNF for hot gas line
Connect supplied reducer with copper seal ring.
Types 221.C08 to 221.C16:
Slide the nuts onto the relevant refrigerant lines
from the outdoor unit.

Please note
Contamination (e.g. metal swarf) or moisture
in the refrigerant lines will cause the appli-
ance to malfunction.
Point the pipe openings downwards or tem-
porarily plug them.
