a. Move Disk 1 , Disk 2 , and Disk 3 from the Available section (on the left) to
the
Selected
section (on the right).
b. Take note of the number of megabytes shown in Maximum available
size in MB .
c. Divide the number of megabytes shown in Maximum available size in
MB by two.
“Maximum available size in MB”/2 = megabytes per partition
You are just calculating a value for use in
Select the amount of space in
MB .
d. Type the calculated number of megabytes in the Select the amount of
space in MB box.
e. Click Next .

7. Perform a quick format with these settings and values, and click Next .

8. Click Finish .
After a few seconds, the D: drive should now be available to Windows.
9. Right-click Disk 1 , select New Striped Volume to create a new striped
volume.

10. In the New Striped Volume window, do the following in the first screen of
the wizard:

Disk 3

section (on the left) to
the Selected section (on the right).
