MBX IP Station User Guide
To access your Voice Mail Box from a Remote Location:
1. Lift the handset,
2. Dial the phone number of a DISA CO line answered by the VSF/VMIB Auto Atd,
3. At answer, dial # to receive the 'Mail Box & Password' prompt,
4. Dial the Mail Box and password to receive the 'Number of Messages' prompt,
5. Dial '*',
6. Dial desired option codes,
7. At completion of session, hang-up.
Outcall Notification of Voice Mail Messages
This feature provides a way to notify the arrival of voice mail messages to the specified
telephone number. If the user enables the notification of mailbox and programs a phone number
including CO access code, the system gives a call by dialing the programmed number and
allows the access to voicemail after checking the user's password. If the user doesn't answer
the call, the system quits the call. Once modifying these programming settings, the notification
can be retried after the time interval and retry count settings have been reached.
- Analog CO lines cannot be used for this feature since there is no explicit signal when the
call is answered.
- Only CO party can receive the notification call. So, the notification phone number should
start with a CO access code.
- Make sure the following programming settings have been made:
Feature Numbering Plan (PGM 113), see your system administrator.
Outcall Notification (PGM 145 - button 21, On)
Outcall Attempts (PGM 145 - button 22, 1-9)
Outcall Interval (PGM 145 - button 23, 01-60 mins)
Outcall Phone Number (PGM 145 - button 24, up to 24 digits)
DIGITAL PHONE
To enable/disable outcall notification:
1. Press the [TRANS] + 7 3 or dial the {Outcall Notification} feature code.
2. Dial 1 to enable or 0 to disable.
3. Press the [SAVE] button.
4. Return to idle after hearing service set tone.
